VermaPlex™ Pure
Black Castings™ : A Little Goes A Long Way
VermaPlex™ and
Pure Black Castings™ are
powerful yet always safe to use. It's impossible to use too
much. Unlike chemical fertilizers, the measurements for
worm-created fertilizers are not
crucial. However, these all natural plant foods are
concentrated, so you get great results from a small amount.
Since they are slow-released, you'll never have to worry about
burning plants.
It's recommended that after applying Pure Black Castings™
you
drench the castings with a mixture of VermaPlex™ for inoculation.
See the following for mixtures and uses.
Transplanting Seedlings with VermaPlex™ and
Pure Black Castings™
Plants From Small Pots and 6 Paks:
- Mix 8 oz. of VermaPlex™ in a
gallon of water. Fill 2 or 3 inches of this mix in a pan.
Place the pots in the pan to soak while you dig holes for the
plants.
- Place a handful of Pure Black Castings™
in each hole, put the
plant in the hole, and cover.
- Pour the VermaPlex™ mixed with water around each new
transplant.
- Foliage feed with 4 oz. VermaPlex™
mixed with water in a pump
sprayer in early morning or late afternoon every two to three
weeks. It is very important to do the foliar application
to set fruit and again in two weeks after fruiting begins.
Plants From Larger Pots:
- Add 20% Pure Black Castings™ to
your potting soil. Do the root soak.
- Place a handful of Pure Black Castings™ in the hole.
Use the potting soil mix to backfill around your plant.
- Transplanting trees: Use one pound
Pure Black Castings™
per 1 inch caliper of trunk in the bottom of the hole and
another pound around the drip line. Drench with the
VermaPlex™ mixture and do foliar spray now and every month.
Planting Seeds
